On May 18th Sir William Burnip Lodge hosted their first annual Spring Picnic at Transfer Beach Park in Ladysmith. The weather cooperated and the forecast rain didn't appear. We dined on ribs, chicken skewers, salmon, prawns and corn provided by the Lodge plus a variety of salads brought by attendees. There was even a cake to celebrate Brother Ray's birthday. After the meal there was karaoke although I think Brother Brad was the only one that sang. A good time was had all and everyone went home full and happy.
